The Ihya Institute welcomes all to embark on the journey along the path of sacred learning. Our courses intend to support students of all ages and backgrounds to become more confident in their knowledge and practise of Islam by offering a diverse range of programmes. WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

We truly believe that a successful educational model is one that incorporates the whole community. That includes individuals and families. Our goals are to InshAllah provide programming and events that nourish the soul but at the same time raise the level of education and consciousness of our deen in the community.

Arabic Language

Over 10 years experience in teaching Arabic Language for non-Arabic speakers including grammar, morphology and a particular focus on speaking.

Qur'an

In addition to Quran memorization, with individual targets for students. Everyone covers the foundation of tajweed and its practical application.

Islamic Studies

A programme studying the Islamic Sciences aims to equip students with the foundational knowledge required to have a sound understanding of Islam

What you’ll learn

Arabic is a sacred language, the study of which is fundamental to an in-depth knowledge of Islam. We invite you to join us on this sacred learning journey towards unlocking the meanings of the Quran, the teachings of our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and accessing the rich heritage of our tradition.

Conversational Arabic

Students practise a variety of topics that provide key vocabulary and phrases for everyday conversation.

Islamic Studies

By the end of the course students should have an overview of the traditional islamic sciences and be ready to study more in depth topics

Quran

In addition to Quran memorization, with individual targets for students. Everyone covers the foundation of tajweed and its practical application.

INTERMEDIATE

Conversational Arabic

Students gain operational fluency and more natural ability to speak in Arabic as well as more aspects of grammar and morphology

INTERMEDIATE

Islamic Studies

More in Depth study of areas such as Aqidah, Fiqh and Tazkiyya with a particular set of books that are covered in each subject including memorisation of selected poems in each subject area.

INTERMEDIATE

Quran

Complete memorisation of the 30th Juz with competent recitation as well as a thematic study of the surahs contained in this chapter of the Quran.
